Ongoing Takata Corp. Airbag Recall
In the largest defective automotive part recall in the history of the United
States, millions of Takata brand airbags have been recalled, affecting
millions of automobiles across the nation. According to recent reports,
the number looks like it will only continue to increase as the months
go by and more problems with the “safety” devices are discovered.
The defective airbags have already caused 11 fatalities around the world
– only 1 outside of the U.S. – and more than 100 other minor
to severe injuries.
The airbag inflators have apparently been made with unsafe levels of ammonium
nitrate, which can combust violently, especially in areas of high humidity.
The explosions are strong enough to send sharp metal shrapnel towards
a vehicle occupant, causing deep lacerations. Please take a moment to

Takata airbag within it. If you do, you should contact your manufacturer
and discuss how you can get a recall as soon as possible. With all the
evidence in place, cars with Takata brand airbags are simply not safe to use.
